I have been studying astrology for over 30 years and mentored directly under the world reknown Jeffrey Wolf Green in Evolutionary Astrology for three years. My approach is both practical and spiritual, synthesizing classical astrology with both the modern methods of Evolutionary and Psychological Astrology.

After graduating from CU in 1979 I lived in the Bay Area, Washington DC and Chicago as I promoted up the ranks with EBUSA. My eldest daughter Hawk (Justine but she changed her name) was born in Illinois in 1987. At the time I was one of two female executives in a very patriarchal company. They had a hard time with one of their officers being pregnant and then, adding insult to injury, pumping milk and storing it in the president’s refrigerator to take back to her baby! They offered me a lucrative but far away district sales manager position in Salt Lake City, which I took until my husband at the time, David Zindell, sold his first science fiction novel. I decided to be home with Hawk full time but I also discovered to my dismay that I had not bonded with her like I should have. With that realization, I decided to leave the corporate world for good in order to prioritize mothering.

We moved back to Boulder, Colorado in 1990. My daughter Canary (Jillian) was born in 1991. I was divorced two years later after 14 years of marriage. I chose to home-school my daughters as long as it was working for them, and we all loved it. Both my daughters decided to take a few classes as part time students once they reached high school, but still graduated with home school diplomas. Hawk is a senior at the University of Colorado with a major in Anthropology, but also a budding film maker. She has written, produced and directed two short films and is working on her third. Canary was just recently accepted to the University of Colorado and has declared Dance as her major while she continues to explore her interests, along with acting in Hawk's films. Both are second degree Dans (black belts) with Soo Bahk Do and were instructors at the martial arts studio we ran for a while.

As a single parent wanting to stay at home I had fine-tuned the art of developing several income streams including teaching piano, network marketing, astrology classes and even an early morning paper route! In 1999 my son Damian was born, a wonderful surprise from a torrid but relatively short affair. He was born with Down syndrome, which has been its own very full and fun journey, however, his needs are a full time job, and so I have dropped everything but my work as a professional astrologer. I feel very blessed to be offering a service that I love and working with people who continually remind me of the strength and courage of the human spirit.
